Romance Contemporary

Ally Griffin is horrified to learn her new landlord is none other than the infuriating playboy Nate Hardy—the man whose wiles she just knows got her jilted at the altar six years ago. Add to it that her ex–fiancé Seth is showing up in her hometown of Burronga, Australia, to marry his beautiful new bride...for real this time. But the kicker? Everybody's treating Ally as though she's still heartbroken. She's just fine, thank you very much, but could The Jilter have the decency not to hire her sister as his florist?

Nate Hardy is tired of his high–flying city career and bachelor lifestyle and is looking for something more real. The last thing he needs is to find himself undeniably attracted to Ally, the woman with whom he never saw eye–to–eye. But is he even capable of what Ally wants and deserves?

As Ally tries to pull her life out of the rut it's fallen in, she doesn't count on Nate stirring up her emotions. A short–term fling with the resident bad boy is practically irresistible, but only if she can guard her heart...

The little details about the characters may be irrelevant to the story but I think they're absolutely essential. I'd get nothing out of reading a book if the characters begin and end as strangers to me.

Michelle Donaldson 8:36am January 23, 2013)

I like when characters seen real, I don't want a book in which characters
just seem to have names and you are to assume so much about them.
Real Men Don't Break Hearts looks great.
(
Ann Sheiring 8:41am January 23, 2013)

I am certain that your writing reflects that.

Reformed bad boys are always the most fun. I love details about characters. They help you understand the characters' feelings and behavior better.
(
Irene Menge 11:40am January 23, 2013)

I like the idea of having a full back story for the
characters. That make a reader, like me, fall for them harder
:)
I look forward to reading your book.

I have to say that I like the plot to your book!! Quite a few years ago, I decided that I was going to change the way that my life was going, and be a better person, so I can sort of relate to the male character in your book. That fact alone makes me wish that I had your book in my hand, so that I could read the story for myself, and find out how it unfolds!! It sounds like quite an area where you live - quite a difference from the country where I'm at, where all I have to look at are the deer and cows, mostly!! LOL The cover is lovely, and I'm sure the story will warm my heart this Winter!! Congratulations on your book!!
(
Peggy Roberson 2:04pm January 23, 2013)

Love to hear that you create the back story for your

much easier. The book sounds really interesting!

(
Danielle McDonald 10:56am January 24, 2013)

Certainly a great title! I have a feeling that once a cheat, or committment shy, the person (male or female) may stay like that. Old habits are hard to change. But men cetainly do get less testoterone as they get older so their behaviour does alter. Women just get wiser (and perhaps sneakier).
(
Clare O'Beara 5:12am January 25, 2013)

Sounds like you pluck people from everyday life and toss them in the mix for you characters. When I'm asked where I get ideas for my poems and writings, I say everywhere. I especially like to overhear conversations and tuck them away for someday to use to jazz up my dialogue.
