Mixed martial arts fighter Reid Andrews’s chance to reclaim his title as light heavyweight champ is shattered when he’s injured only months before the rematch. To make sure he’s healed in time, his trainer sends him to recuperate under a professional’s care—Reid’s best friend’s little sister, all grown up.

Disorganized and bookish Lucie Miller needs some professional help of her own. She’d do anything to catch the eye of a doctor she’s crushed on for years, so when Reid offers seduction lessons in exchange for 24/7 conditioning for the biggest fight of his career, Lucie jumps at the chance.

Soon Reid finds himself in the fight of his life...winning Lucie's heart before she gives it to someone else.

Michelle Rosini 12:27pm August 12, 2012)

This sounds like a really interesting book and I liked what you said about letting the characters "do what comes naturally to them". That makes me want to read this even more. Have a great day.
(
Chelsea Knestrick 1:07am August 12, 2012)

Can't wait to read this one.
(
Leanne Jacobson 1:17am August 12, 2012)

Sounds like a good read
(
Robin Foss 1:38am August 12, 2012)

I like all kinds of "tropes" as you say, but enemies to lovers is pretty good
(
Robin Foss 1:40am August 12, 2012)

I had never heard of tropes before so I am not really sure what they are. I think that the wrong bed would be an interesting way to start a story. This sounds like an interesting book.
(
Kathleen Yohanna 2:52am August 12, 2012)

I am glad you didn't have to rein in the love scenes! Its great that they have several lines with different heat levels to accommodate the author's writings.
(
Tamsyn Takamiya 3:08am August 12, 2012)

I love the friends to lovers trope...there always seem to be so
many more feelings than in the other tropes, since the
characters tend to have an already well developed
relationship and the prior relationship really just helps the
romantic relationship build on top of the foundation. I have
found these to be the tropes with incredibly intriguing
characters and the strongest bonds of love.
(
Samantha King 3:16am August 12, 2012)

My favorite trope is enemies to lovers.
(
Maureen Emmons 6:48am August 12, 2012)

(
Eileen Roth 10:20am August 12, 2012)

Congrats on your new release. I like the wrong bed trope and enemies to lovers.
My life has been based on friends to lovers, but usually in my life it doesn't last
long.
(

(
Brenda Leon 11:09am August 12, 2012)

Hi Gina!! Book sounds great!!! I think the enemies to lovers has great
emotional conflicts that are so great to read. The tension really heats up
the story. :)

Good luck and happy writing!

Congrats on your new release, Gina! It sounds like an
awesome read! I think my favorite is enemies to lovers. They
usually have a very passionate relationship and there is a
lot of snark involved. ;)
I like the whole brother's best friend thing too, but I
would never date any of either of my brothers' friends. :)

The first time I heard the term catagory romance I thought what? Who knew that such a thing existed? The publishing industry is very complicated. Congrats on the book and thanks for the giveaway.
(

OMG, that looks amazing! I want, I want!
(
Joelle Beebe 7:55pm August 12, 2012)

Sounds exciting, I like to read about ugly ducklings.
(
Wilma Frana 8:28pm August 12, 2012)

Since you asked the question, and you said that you were "green" when it came to tropes, well so am I!! I've never read one in my life - at least not one that I'm aware of!! I suppose that I've been more of a goodie-two-shoes type of reader, and it's time for me to step up to the big leagues, so who better to start out with than with you?? I would love to read your book, and if I had to take a stab at the selections, it would be friends to lovers, of course!! I'm sure your book would be a good read, and I can finally graduate to the big leagues!!
(
Peggy Roberson 9:07pm August 12, 2012)

I love reading about soul mates that find each other accidentally...especially supernaturally like in werewolves!
(
Angie Lilly 10:21pm August 12, 2012)

Never heard of a trope either. I guess friends to lovers. I think that would
be the hardest line to cross in real life so will go with that!
(
Vicki Hancock 10:32pm August 12, 2012)

Book sounds like a great read. Thanks for giving me a chance to win it.
(
Linda Hall 10:40pm August 12, 2012)

I do love "Ugly Duckling'. I know it's going to be a fun read.
(
Mary Preston 11:20pm August 12, 2012)

Thanks for a chance to win this book. It sounds great. As far as tropes go, this is the first I've heard of them, but I guess the ugly duckling sounds the most interesting.
(
