Oh wow... A weekend in London? I have friends there so I'll probably visit my friends first. I would also love to do some shopping and re-visit the historical sites (eg castles, palace...etc.) again. I think Princess Katherine and Prince William really brought romance back to London for me...

I have London as one of the top ten places to visit before I die. I would want to see the historical sites, take them all in. I am a history "nerd" and to walk through the streets and buildings of history where amazing things took place, changed courses, left art-books-philosophy behind-- to be in awe of how time is and significant each one of each is.

Thank you for your post and giveaway, Caroline. If I could visit London, I'd hit all the usual tourist attractions, and more. I'd visit the places associated with my favorite literary, artistic, and historical figures.
BTW, the cover art of your novel is lovely. Do you know who painted it?

I am not a traveler, but I will answer your question. I would take in as many historical sites as I could. The tower first!!! Then the grand parks, the beautiful England country side!!! I love the cover for The Darkest Sin as well, although I don't know who did the original artwork. The design team at Brava did an excellent job with my Sin Trilogy covers overall. Very mysterious and romantic looking....

Of course, I'd want to see all the wonderful historical places, see the changing of the guards. maybe spot a "Royal", stroll the gardens, and have high tea with all the locals. A visit to Harrods would be a treat, too. My great & great great grand parents came from the area of Somerset near by so would love to travel in their steps. Oh, & Bath, who could forget that? Don't believe I'd get much rest on this trip! :)I also, think your book cover is very classy looking. Draws my attention & piques my interest! Good luck on the series.

Concerts. Lots and lots of concerts. The London Philharmonic, London Sinfonia, Academy of St. Martin's in the Fields Chamber Orchestra, student and faculty recitals at the Guildhall and the Royal Academy of Music, ...... Can you tell I'm a musician?
I'd also like to see the changing of the guard at Buckingham Palace again, and maybe this time, tour the Tower instead of heading straight for Harrod's. Of course, one MUST go to Hatchard's Booksellers!!

Two days in London - how do I choose what to do? On my list would be the British Museum, the Victoria and Albert, church service at St Paul's Cathedral and maybe last minute tickets for a play.

I play viola, and am a professional chamber musician, but I still am willing to play in orchestras every now and then.
I'd also like to hit the British Museum, the V & A, and if there was time, squeeze in Kew Gardens too! Yeah, if there's time. Who am I kidding?!?

If I ever went to London, I have a dear friend that I would love to see. I would love to see his house, and finally meet his wife and children in person. He's been here to see me, and stayed at my place, with my Husband and me, and although our visit wasn't as long as I would have liked it to be, at least I was able to cook for him, and show him around a little. I'm not in the position to fly right now for health reasons, so if I won the contest, I would prefer to win an autographed copy of your book in exchange, if I could, or perhaps something could be worked out to compensate for the trip. Winning a trip to London would be unreal! It's the kind of thing that would
make me believe that maybe there *is* a fairy godmother for me out there,lol
If I got to go, I'd want to ride in the London Eye; it just seems so iconic to me
and I love a good view. And of course I'd want to see the ravens, crown jewels,
and beefeaters! So I'd go for a visit of the Tower of London :D
And then of course I'd have to see Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament,
Harrods, and Westminster Abbey. Hampton Court Palace also is a must, just to
see where King Henry lived, maybe even stand on the very same spot Anne
Boleyn did without knowing it. And last but not least, I would love to get to go
to the British Museum!! All that history and the magic of seeing artifacts that
peoples from hundreds of year ago used every day...that would be amazing.

I just might take another canal boat cruise near Stratford-On-Avon and enjoy the beautifully kept gardens in postage stamp size yards.
