So it turns out that it is in the Czech Republic especially many surrealists. We can recall such luminaries of the genre, like Josef Šíma (Josef Sima) and Jan Švankmajer (Jan Svankmajer), and in the 30s of the last century, even a group of "Czech Surrealists" was created. Jakub Dvorsky (Jakub Dvorsky), the leader of the studio Amanita Design , continues these traditions. But it transfers them not only to the canvas or screen, but also to the space of video games. His thesis at the Prague Higher School of Applied Arts was not a picture or an animation film, but a game, which surprised the teachers a lot and made them reduce the score to four points. Nevertheless Samorostin 2003 became a local sensation and actually spawned a separate genre of such minimalist quests. Then there was the second part, Machinarium and Botanicula and a lot of followers and imitators. But Yakub himself really returned to the industry only with the release of Samorost3 . In Samorost Dvorski actually came up with his own version of the "Little Prince": in the middle of the endless black space levitate strange planets, one of which lives a funny dwarf in a cap and felt boots. In this case, most planets, comets and asteroids are tiny. In the first part, the dwarf had to save the homeland from a collision with an asteroid, in the second - to find a dog abducted by aliens.
