Blythe Gifford
After many years in public relations, advertising, and marketing, Blythe Gifford returned to her first love, writing historical novels. Her debut novel, THE KNAVE AND THE MAIDEN, was her Golden Heart Finalist manuscript. THE HARLOT’S DAUGHTER, inspired by the illegitimate daughter of an English king and his much-hated mistress, is an October 2007 release. Now writing another medieval story, she feeds her muse with art, music, long walks, good food and good friends. She loves Italian food, Japanese art, and Brazilian music. She reads history for fun but always remembers that to her characters, it wasn’t history. It was life.
