Jacqueline Elliott
I'm a Montana native and still live in this wonderful place
with my husband, two children, two boxers, three cats, and
a fish. Update- The fish died, so my daughter now has two
Fire Bellied Toads. I wrote my first novel, SHADOWS IN THE FIRE, in 2000. It
was published by Treble Heart Books in March 2002. FULL
MOON INHERITANCE, my second novel, just came out in July
2003. It's the beginning of what I hope is to become a
series. You can check out both novels at Treble Heart
Books. Before I began my novel writing career, I was an artist. My
love for art has led me to graphic art on the computer,
which in turn led me to cover art. I still take out the
oils now and then because I love the smell of fresh
paint.
Look for my poem, Burnt Pumpkins, and my essay, Spaces In
Time in Crumbs In The Keyboard. Crumbs is a wonderful
collection of story's written by women who write and deal
with everyday life. The proceeds of this project will be
donated to help fight domestic violence. I'd also like to
send a special congratulations to all of my RWU Buddies who
are also be in Crumbs!
Another essay has been accepted to be included in a
collection of stories called, Let Us Not Forget: A Tribute
to America's 20th Century Veterans. This anthology will be
filled with stories honoring American Veterans, stories
that need to be told, to be read, to be remembered and not
forgotten. ALL proceeds will go to the America's 20th
Century Veterans Memorial Fund, for the completion of the
memorial located in North Platte, Nebraska. The anthology
will be published through iUniverse, with a release date
for Fall 2002.
