Liz Maverick
Bestselling, award-winning author Liz Maverick is a romance-writing outlaw, smashing the stereotypes of the genre with her out-of-the-box action-romance novels. Liz has been featured on Fox News and in USA Today, the Toronto Star, the Chicago Sun-Times, Cosmopolitan Magazine, San Francisco Magazine and more, and along with creating the USA Today bestselling Crimson City series, she’s hit both the Barnes & Noble and Waldens bestseller lists. A graduate of UC Berkeley with an MBA from UCLA, Liz spends as much time as she can away from her desk, traveling the world. She has lived in Antarctica, Milan, Hong Kong, Paris (and more!). When Liz isn’t writing novels, she’s managing the development and strategy of fiction websites. Liz created the popular romance fiction website HeroesandHeartbreakers.com for Macmillan Publishers, running the site for several years after its launch. She also worked with Bookspan to reinvent the Doubleday Book Club as an online hardcover subscription service targeting the women’s fiction, romance, and mystery audiences. She went back to Macmillan to help them with the launch of their self-publishing strategy before returning to writing full time in 2016. Liz currently lives happily ever after in Brooklyn, New York with her daughter and editor husband.
