Judith Laura
Judith Laura is author of four books, two of which are
novels. Her latest Novel, BEYOND ALL DESIRING, is an award finalist in two competitions: USA News Best Book 2006 Book Awards and Media Darlings' 2006 Word/Work Book Awards. The novel's protagonist is a woman in her 80's, has strong women's
themes with a dab of magical realism. It is reviewed on
Fresh Fiction. Her first novel, THREE PART INVENTION
(2002), spotlights the mother-daughter relationship and
music in many forms. Judith Laura's poetry, short fiction, and articles have
been published in a variety of magazines, journals and
anthologies. She grew up in Ewing, NJ, is a journalism
graduate of Ohio University, and now lives near Washington,
DC. She has earned her living as a newspaper reporter,
health and medical writer and magazine editor. Her previous
books are GODDESS SPIRITUALITY FOR THE 21st CENTURY (1997)
and SHE LIVES! THE RETURN OF OUR GREAT MOTHER (1989).
