Emily Arnold McCully

Emily Arnold McCully is the author/illustrator of dozens of children's books, including Caldecott medal winner MIRETTE ON THE HIGH WIRE. Her most recent books are MANJIRO, MY HEART GLOW, THE ESCAPE OF ONEY JUDGE, and MARVELOUS MATTIE.

She is working now on WONDER HORSE, about the educated horse Jim Key and THE CAVE about the four boys who discovered the 18,000 year old painted cave at Lascaux in 1940. She is writing a YA biography of muckraker Ida Tarbell.
