Pseudonym: M.J. Flournoy.
I write suspense with a touch of paranormal and Southern flavor. Most of my stories have a thread of romance and dash of family values. I am a graduate of LaGrange College with a degree in History and hold a Master of Education in Learning Disabilities from the State University of West Georgia. I am a retired teacher having spent more than 20 years teaching Special Education classes in the Troup County School System. I am a member of Romance Writers of America and a Past President of Kiss of Death, the Mystery and Suspense Chapter of RWA. Currently I am president-elect of Outreach International Romance Writers (OIRWA). I am a two time winner of the Maggie Award of Excellence from Georgia Romance Writers a chapter of Romance Writers of America (RWA). My short Southern fiction story about a runaway child and the private investigator sent to bring her home is featured in the Amazon Best Seller, Finding Love’s Magic. I live in West Central Georgia with my husband. We have two children and two granddaughters. When I'm not writing I enjoys travel, reading, cooking, Facebook, and container gardening.
