Craig Faustus Buck
Craig Faustus Buck is a writer of many faces having been a journalist, a nonfiction book author, a writer-producer for network television, a feature film screenwriter, an Anthony Award nominated short-story writer and now a novelist. Among his six nonfiction books, two were #1 NYT bestsellers--one pop-psychology the other pop-gynecology. His short film, "Overnight Sensation", was nominated for an Academy Award. He was one of the writers on the seminal miniseries "V: The Final Battle" and wrote dozens of network TV series episodes, pilots and TV movies. His short story "Dead End" (the prequel to the Stark Raving Press novella "Psycho Logic") is nominated for an Anthony Award (to be announced at Bouchercon on November 15, 2014. For reviews, see the Kindle edition). His noir mystery novel, "Go Down Hard", which was First Runner Up for the Claymore Award at Killer Nashville, will be published by Brash Books in 2015. His indie feature, "Smuggling for Gandhi", is scheduled for preproduction in 2015. Based in Los Angeles, he is on the local chapter boards of both the Mystery Writers of America and Sisters in Crime, and a member of the Writers Guild of America and International Thriller Writers.
