A graduate of the French Culinary Institute, María del Mar Sacasa has worked for Vogue, InStyle, Lucky, and Cook’s Country; her clients include Au Bon Pain, Bailey’s, Bon Appétit, Keurig, KitchenAid, Macy’s, McDonald’s, and Woman’s Day. She writes for Serious Eats, blogs at High Heels & Frijoles, and—with award-winning photographer Tara Striano—shares recipes, photos, and stories from behind the scenes of the food industry at their blog, Cookin’ & Shootin’. María lives between New York City and Los Angeles, and Tara is a long-time New Yorker.
