Leslie Lehr
Leslie Lehr is the award–winning author of the new novel, What A Mother Knows. Her last novel, Wife Goes On, is a popular book club selection, and her debut novel, 66 Laps, won the Pirate's Alley Faulkner Prize. Her nonfiction books and essays have been praised from "Today Show" to "Oprah," and excerpted in collections ranging from Arrianna Huffington's On Becoming Fearless, to the Tarcher series "Now Write!" "Heartless", an independent film that aired on USA TV, has been screening across Europe for the past ten years. Lehr is a graduate of the the School of Cinematic Arts at USC and earned her MFA at Antioch. She teaches in the Writers Program at UCLA Extension and works as a manuscript consultant.
