Martha Bolton
Martha Bolton has written for well-known performers such as Bob Hope, Phyllis Diller, Ann Jillian, Jeff Allen, Mark Lowry, Fritz Coleman, and more. Martha is also the author of dozens of books as well as the Cafeteria Lady column for Brio magazine. She has written parody lyrics for popular songs such as “Face in this World (Michael W. Smith—Place in this World), Some Other Time, Some Other Place (Sandi Patty—Another Time, Another Place), Every Teacher Knows My Name (Amy Grant—Every Heart Beat Knows Your Name), and The Date Adventure (Steven Curtis Chapman—The Great Adventure)” Martha has won several awards for her writing. She received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Achievement in Music and Lyrics, a Dove award nomination for the children’s musical, A Lamb's Tale, the Ambassador Award, Media Fellowship International and three Angel Awards. Whether she’s writing for children, teens, or adults, Martha’s book titles are just a glimpse of the laughs awaiting the reader inside the book. Her children’s books include: Ol’ Jonah’s Tossed Into the Ocean, Good Ol’ Noah Had an Ark, and the Piper the Hyper Mouse series, all of which she teamed up with comedian Mark Lowry.
