Ann Nolder Heintz
Ann Nolder Heinz holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Washington with a major in Sociology. Her novel Last Stop Freedom, a story of slavery, women’s rights, and the Underground Railroad, won first place for historical fiction in the 2011 Royal Dragonfly e-Book Awards competition. When she is not writing, she works as the office manager of her husband’s civil engineering and surveying firm. They reside in the small Illinois river town of East Dundee, the setting for her Fox River Valley series of four psychological suspense novels.
