Judith Rock
Judith Rock was a professional modern dancer and choreographer for 23 years. After that, she was a police officer and then an actress in her one-woman show Response Time. She has written on dance, art, and theology for many journals, and has been artist-in-residence and taught and lectured across the United States and abroad. Her doctoral research in Paris was the basis for her novels, and she has kept returning to Paris for more research to make each book come alive in its time. To see part of the 18th century Jesuit ballet Judith restaged in San Francisco in 1985, go to her website, click on the Charles's World page, and play the video in the upper right corner. You can send a message or ask a question on the Readers Write page. Judith lives with her husband in Sarasota, Florida. In her spare time, she takes care of injured birds, and orphaned baby birds, at Save Our Seabirds.
