Andrea Montalbano

Andrea Montalbano is no stranger to the soccer field. Growing up in Miami, she was a soccer star at a time when most girls weren't playing the sport. And she continued to play through college, acting as captain for her Harvard University soccer team and eventually being inducted into the Varsity Club Hall of Fame.

After college, Andrea pursued a career in journalism, attending Columbia University's Graduate School of Journalism and later working as a producer and writer for NBC News and NBC's Today show, until she decided to combine her love of writing with her first love, soccer.
