Betsy Berns
Betsy Berns, the youngest child in her family, grew up with three brothers who used to test her basic football knowledge so she could even out the touch-football teams. She has been an avid fan of the game and of all sports ever since. Berns is the author of The Female Fan Guide to Pro Football, Win, Place and Show: A Female Fan's Guide to Thoroughbred Racing and The Female Fan Guide to Motorsports. She has served as a consultant to the National Football League, for which she developed, designed and implemented its Football 101 instructional series for women, now offered by the league in every NFL market. She's also a frequent contributor to and guest on national and regional radio and television. Berns has a master's of business administration degree from the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management of Northwestern University, and a bachelor's degree from Claremont McKenna College. She's married and has three children.
