Andrea Lavinthal
Andrea Lavinthal (along with Jessica Rozler) is the coauthor of The Hookup Handbook: A Single Girl's Guide to Living It Up, released in 2005 by Simon Spotlight Entertainment. This funny road map to the world of McBooty and nondating went on to be translated into nine languages, optioned for film adaptation by the Weinstein Company, and garner a wealth of media attention. The book was featured in The New York Times Sunday Styles section, The New York Times Book Review, USA Today, the Associated Press, Cosmopolitan, CosmoGIRL!, The Village Voice, Women's Wear Daily, New York Post, New York Daily News, Good Morning America, The Mitch Albom Show, The Tyra Banks Show, and, last but not least, radio's dearly departed The David Lee Roth Show. Andrea is also the coauthor (again, with Jessica Rozler) of Friend or Frenemy?: A Guide to the Friends You Need and the Ones You Don't, a humorous but realistic look at women and their friendships. In addition to writing, Andrea is the content editor for Cosmo Radio on Sirius.
