Photo stylist, event producer, author, and style editor, Maria has been influencing design trends for over twenty years as the author of six style books and freelance creative director for many magazines including Family Circle, In-Style and Country Home.

As Wedding Style Director of BRIDES magazine, Maria has produced industry-influencing features on flowers, wedding cakes, and celebrations. In addition, she creates notable events, including Cakewalk at Grand Central sponsored by Bacardi, a design and tasting gallery of over 60 cakes across the United States, and Something Pink, a toast to the design community for contributions to breast cancer awareness.

A motivational speaker, McBride has been a keynote speaker for ISES (International Special Events Society), AIFD (Association of Independent Floral Designers), ABC (Association of Bridal Consultants) and others.

A business consultant, McBride has guided industry leaders including Bed, Bath & Beyond, Michaels, and Swarovski with brand development, product design, and market awareness.
