Behind Allyson Roy is . . . Alice & Roy, husband and wife collaborating authors of the Saylor Oz series -- where crime, comedy and a dash of romance blend together in an urban world of Madcap Noir.

Alice, a dancer, choreographer and teacher, double majored in dance and philosophy at the State University of New York. Roy, a graduate of the University Of The Arts in Philadelphia, has a background in theater, art and standup comedy. We spent many gypsy years living and working in the different neighborhoods of New York City and Philadelphia.

Aside from being husband and wife, we are also best friends, which is reflected in the heartfelt, go-the-distance friendship of our two main characters. Our second book featuring Saylor Oz and Benita Morales, the wacky duo from that artsy, shadowy, waterfront Brooklyn neighborhood called DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass) will be coming out this August.
