Barbara Phinney

Barbara Phinney

Barbara Phinney was born in England, but raised in Canada. She joined the military and shortly after, married another soldier. Now, both have retired and with their two teenaged children have moved to New Brunswick. After her retirement, Barbara decided to write, and thinking that romance would be an extreme challenge for her, being a soldier and all. It took her about 12 years, but she was first published with Hard Shell Word Factory. Since then, she went on to be published with Silhouette Intimate Moments, and then, feeling the call of the Spirit, tried her hand at Inspirational Romantic Suspense. “It was as if I’d come home,” she said. “Like my church, it just felt right to be there.” Barbara’s first book with Love Inspired Suspense, Desperate Rescue, comes out in Sept 2007. Hr next, Keeping Her Safe, is due out June 2008.
