Based in Minnesota, Bruce has performed workshops and assemblies at more than three hundred elementary and middle schools from coast to coast and has been a featured speaker at scores of reading and media conferences. Bruce teaches students how to write several kinds of poems using rhyme and free verse. His interactive program gives students a chance to create and perform poems. Students learn how much fun it can be to read and write poetry.
