Sally Horchow

SALLY HORCHOW is a freelance writer and lifestyle expert living in Los Angeles.

Sally regularly contributes her original point-of view on all lifestyle trends - from entertaining, food, and travel to design, fashion, and art - to The New York Times, Town & Country, and DailyCandy.com. Her work has also appeared in: Vanity Fair, Elle, InStyle, Food & Wine, Cosmopolitan, Town & Country Travel, Town & Country Weddings, Women's Wear Daily, Los Angeles Magazine, L.A. Confidential, Angeleno, Distinction, C Magazine, Veranda, Spa, Texas Monthly, and The Boston Globe.

Sally and her father, Roger Horchow (a Broadway producer and founder of The Horchow Collection), are the co-authors of The Art of Friendship: 70 Simple Rules for Making Meaningful Connections, a non-fiction work published by St. Martin's Press, which will be available in stores everywhere this October.

Sally is currently appearing periodically as a lifestyle and trend expert on "TYRA," Tyra Banks' syndicated talk show. She has also appeared on: Food Network, E!Entertainment Television, KNBC/Channel 4 News, AMC, and Travel Channel. She has performed in comedy sketches on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien" and studied improv with The Groundlings. She has been featured and quoted in: The New York Times, Domino, Food & Wine, Elle, W, Town & Country, The Dallas Morning News, Self, D Magazine, Marie Claire (Japan), Baila (Japan), 25Ans (Japan), and Angeleno, where her monthly dating column, "Girl's Eye View," ran throughout 2001.

Prior to her print and on-air career, Sally worked in many aspects of the entertainment and media industries. After two years as the Executive Assistant to Steven Spielberg, she worked as a film Producer, a Senior Event Planner with Best Events, the Producer (and "Voice") of Keen.com, and an Interior Designer.

Sally grew up in Dallas, Texas, and received her B.A. from Yale University. She lives in Hollywood with her husband and two Labradors, Annie and Maggie Mae.
